How do I request a custom itinerary or quote?
Contact us by phone or through our website with your preferred destinations, travel dates, group size, and interests. Our travel consultants will design a custom itinerary and send you a detailed quotation, typically within one business days.
Is the initial quote final, or subject to change?
No. The quotation is based on the accommodation type specified (e.g., double/twin share) and current availability. No reservations are made at the quote stage — final costs are subject to availability at the time of booking confirmation.
How long is a quote valid for?
Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date issued, after which prices may change due to availability or seasonal rate adjustments.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 3–6 months in advance, especially for peak season (Nov–Mar) or if international/domestic flights and 5-star properties need to be secured.
What information do you need from me to build an itinerary?
Typically: travel dates, number of travelers (adults/children), budget range, accommodation standard preference, interests (culture, adventure, relaxation, etc.), and any dietary or mobility requirements.
Can I customize an existing itinerary?
Yes — itineraries are fully customizable in terms of pace, activities, hotel category, and destinations included.
Is a deposit required to confirm a booking? How much, and when is the balance due?
A 30% deposit is required to confirm booking, with the balance due 60 days before departure.
What happens if my preferred hotel/flight is unavailable at time of booking?
Flight times, hotels, and all logistics are subject to availability. If a preferred hotel or flight becomes unavailable, we will secure the best available alternative of similar value and standard.
What's included in the quoted price?

Are there hidden fees or surcharges?
No. We offer close to 100% “all-inclusive, nothing more to pay” itineraries. All non-inclusive items are clearly identified in each itinerary. Note that unavoidable pre-paid costs (e.g., flight tickets, cruise tickets, train tickets already submitted) will be added on top of the quoted price where applicable.
What payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer. (Bank transfer fees are the client’s responsibility.)
Is pricing per person or per group?
Pricing is quoted per person (e.g., unit price per adult), based on a specified room-sharing arrangement (e.g., double/twin share), then totaled for the group.
Do prices vary by season?
Yes, rates vary by season, with peak season (Nov–Mar) typically priced higher than shoulder or low season.
Will I be notified of price changes due to currency fluctuation, fuel surcharges, etc.?
Confirmed bookings are locked at the quoted price; however, unconfirmed quotes may be subject to change due to airline fuel surcharges or significant currency fluctuation, and clients will be notified before final confirmation.
Is travel insurance included, or must I arrange it separately?
Travel insurance is not listed under “Inclusive” items, so it must be arranged separately by the traveler.
What is your cancellation policy, and how do charges scale with timing?
Timing Before Departure:
More than 61 days: Free cancellation
60–31 days: Charge 30% of full payment
30–15 days: Charge 50% of full payment
Within 15 days / no-show: Charge 100% of full payment
Can I make changes to my itinerary after booking? Are there change fees?
Minor changes (hotel category, activity swaps) can usually be accommodated free of charge subject to availability. Date changes or significant itinerary changes may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking, subject to the cancellation policy above.
What happens if I need to cancel due to illness or emergency?
Standard cancellation charges apply regardless of reason. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation for illness or emergencies.
Do you require or recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation?
We strongly recommend all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including trip cancellation and medical coverage, at the time of booking.
What is your policy for cancellations caused by natural disasters, political unrest, or airline strikes?
In the event of natural disasters, political unrest, or similar circumstances beyond our control, we will work with clients to reschedule or provide credit where possible, though standard cancellation charges may still apply as they are often set by third-party suppliers (hotels, cruises, airlines).
How are refunds processed, and how long do they take?
Approved refunds are processed via bank transfer within 14 business days of cancellation confirmation, minus applicable cancellation charges and bank fees.
What happens if you (the agency) need to cancel or modify the tour?
In the rare event Asia Wander Tour must cancel a confirmed tour, clients will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
