03 Days Discover the Rich Heritage of Angkor Wat Temples

Welcome to Siem Reap, the gateway to the temples of Angkor. Upon arrival at Siem Reap–Angkor International Airport on your independently arranged flight, complete immigration and collect your luggage. Your English-speaking guide and private driver will be waiting in the arrivals area with a signboard displaying your name.

After meeting the local team, travel by private air-conditioned vehicle to HARI Residence & Spa. During the transfer, your guide will provide a short introduction to Siem Reap and explain the program for the following day. Check in to your Deluxe Room and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Depending on your arrival time, relax at the hotel or explore the nearby streets and local restaurants independently. No meals are included today.

After breakfast, begin at Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument and the masterpiece of King Suryavarman II. Explore its grand causeway, courtyards, galleries and intricate bas-reliefs while your guide explains the temple’s Hindu origins, later Buddhist use and exceptional Khmer architecture.

Continue to Angkor Thom, the former royal city of the Khmer Empire. Discover Bayon Temple and its serene stone faces, then visit Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephants and the Terrace of the Leper King. After lunch at a local restaurant, explore Ta Prohm, where enormous tree roots intertwine with atmospheric galleries made famous by Tomb Raider. End the day at Phnom Bakheng. Walk to the hilltop temple and enjoy panoramic views across the Angkor forest as the sun sets, subject to weather and site-access conditions, before returning to your hotel.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and free time according to the schedule of your independently arranged onward flight. Standard hotel check-out time applies, although luggage storage can normally be arranged when a later departure allows additional time in Siem Reap.

At the appropriate time, your private driver will meet you in the hotel lobby, assist with your luggage and transfer you by air-conditioned vehicle to Siem Reap–Angkor International Airport. Please ensure that your confirmed flight details are supplied in advance so the pickup time can be planned correctly. On arrival at the terminal, check in for your onward flight. Your short Angkor heritage journey concludes after an inspiring introduction to Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon, Ta Prohm and the remarkable legacy of the Khmer Empire.
