In the morning, begin your full-day city tour with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which highlights the life of Ho Chi Minh, the founder of modern Vietnam.

Explore Ba Dinh Square, an important pilgrimage site for many Vietnamese people, followed by the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, and Ho Chi Minh’s traditional stilt house, where he lived and worked.

Continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, one of Hanoi’s most iconic landmarks. Built in the 11th century, the pagoda is dedicated to Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion, and was designed to resemble a lotus blossom rising from a pond.

Next, visit the Temple of Literature, considered Vietnam’s first university. It was built in 1070 during the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, scholars, and outstanding Vietnamese academics.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, continue your city tour with a visit to one museum of your choice:

  • Vietnam Fine Arts Museum
  • Vietnam National Museum of History
  • Vietnam Revolution Museum
  • Vietnam Military History Museum
  • Vietnam Museum of Ethnology

Please note that some museums are closed on Mondays.

Continue to Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple before enjoying a one-hour cyclo ride through Hanoi’s historic streets.
