Discover 12 Days Cambodia and Laos Tour with Mysterious Temples Exploration

Uncover the sacred architecture, lost capitals and atmospheric temple landscapes of Cambodia and Laos on this private 12-day journey. Begin in Phnom Penh with the Royal Palace, riverside pagodas and the historical sites that shaped modern Cambodia. Travel overland to Siem Reap through Sambor Prei Kuk, the forested capital of ancient Ishanapura, before exploring Angkor Wat, the enigmatic stone faces of Bayon and the root-covered corridors of Ta Prohm.

The temple theme continues beyond Angkor at Koh Ker, where a seven-tiered pyramid rises from the countryside, and Beng Mealea, an evocative ruin reclaimed by jungle. Fly onward to Luang Prabang for gilded monasteries, the sacred Pak Ou Caves, a Mekong cruise, village traditions and Kuang Si Waterfall. Complete the journey in Vientiane with historic monasteries, the golden Pha That Luang, Patuxai and the surreal sculptures of Buddha Park. Carefully selected 4-star hotels, private guides and thoughtfully paced touring provide comfort throughout this culturally rich exploration.

Tour itinerary

Welcome to Cambodia. After completing immigration and collecting your luggage at Techo International Airport, meet your private guide and driver for the transfer into Phnom Penh. During the journey, your guide will introduce Cambodia’s capital, explain local customs and outline the temple-focused adventure ahead.

After checking in at your centrally located hotel, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Depending on your arrival time, take an independent walk along Sisowath Quay, observe daily life where the Tonle Sap and Mekong rivers meet, or relax beside the hotel’s rooftop pool. No formal sightseeing is scheduled today, allowing travellers arriving on different flights to settle in comfortably. This evening, you may explore the riverside restaurants and sample your first Khmer meal at your own pace.
